Mark James Procopio, Managing Director

Mr. Procopio has experience in all structures of growth equity investing, with a particular expertise in leveraging new technologies to increase capacity, expand profitability, and ultimately grow enterprise value. In addition to his work in private equity, he has served as an attorney in Silicon Valley, and as CEO of Cibernet PLC, the world’s largest transaction management and settlement provider for the wireless industry. Mark has been a guest lecturer in Private Equity investing at the MBA programs of Columbia, Pennsylvania (Wharton), Duke (Fuqua), North Carolina (Kenan-Flagler), Johns Hopkins (Carey), Dartmouth (Tuck), Carnegie Mellon (Tepper), and Georgetown (McDonough). Mark has a JD from the U. of California, Berkeley, and a BA from LMU.

Matt Diamond, Board Member, Charollais Holdings

Mr. Diamond has been an investor and Board Member of growth companies operating in the Middle Market and/or acquired through the Search Fund strategy for over twenty years. Mr. Diamond was involved in his first public listing in 1999 when he took Alloy Media onto the Nasdaq National Market, which through a series of acquisitions and mergers, he built into one of the largest multimedia companies in the US, ultimately selling the business to a consortium of private equity investors and strategic buyers. Mr. Diamond received an MBA from Harvard University and a BA from UNC.

Ron Vassallo, Board Member, Charollais Holdings

Mr. Vassallo has been responsible for the management and strategic development of many companies in the Middle Market, serving as CEO of the Kaptivate Group, COO of Truist, Inc., Founder of Tisani Communications (sold to Panoramic Communications), SVP of Startec Global Communications, among other executive roles. He is a member of the Board of Directors of several non-profit organizations. Mr. Vassallo has a BA from Princeton University.

Frank van Lint, Chairman of the Advisory Board

Frank is the Founder and Managing Director of Dellin Investments, a diversified Fund of Funds and active Co-Investor. Frank is an experienced private equity investor with over 20 years of experience in investing in the lower middle market, both directly and through funds. Frank serves on the Board of several investment funds, and has a particular expertise in complex deal structures. Frank earned an MA in Economics at Erasmus University.

Gijs van Thiel, Advisory Board Member

Gijs is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of 747 Capital, an award-winning Fund of Funds currently investing its 6th institutional fund. Gijs has 25+ years’ experience investing in the lower middle market and is a highly sought-after expert speaker in the industry. Gijs earned his M.B.A. from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and his B.A. from Webster University.

Richard Augustyn, Advisory Board Member

Richard is the Founder of Endurance Search Partners, one of the most highly-respected investors in the market. Richard is also the Founder of both the NIP Group, a specialized business insurance intermediary ranked among the 100 largest in the United States, and the Extensis Group, a Professional Employer Group named one of the Top 25 HR Technology Solution Providers.
